Students explore leadership as it is practiced in communities, organizations, and public institutions.
Students will select courses reflective of a range of the 7 essential leadership competencies and their own interests and goals. Our curriculum empowers students to self-design electives around their leadership interest areas. Internships are available and encouraged. (18 semester hours)

This minor is open to all students and is a flexible, practical exploration of civic leadership. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required for all courses in this minor. Students may only bring 6 semester hours to the minor. Courses must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit). Students planning to take this minor should consult with the departmental advisor.
