Acquire Problem-Solving and Design Skills
The Computer Science minor enables you to learn the fundamentals of software design and development and acquire problem-solving and algorithm-design skills.
Electives in sub-fields of computer science, including computer networks, operating systems, software engineering, graphics, and computer architecture, permit the student to study particular areas of interest. (18 semester hours)
ELIGIBILITY
A minimum 2.0 GPA is required for all courses in this minor. Courses must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit). Students planning to take this minor should consult with the chief departmental adviser. This minor is not available to majors in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
