The Master's in French offers a foundation in the study of literature, culture, and theory. We provide close faculty mentorship and foster opportunities to pursue original research. Alumni have gone on to successful careers in academia, teaching, and non-profits, placing in top-ranked PhD programs, including UC Berkeley, Harvard, and Princeton.

Our alumni are currently completing PhDs at Harvard, UC Berkeley, Princeton, Brown, and Emory.
