Curriculum and Courses

The required curriculum in German at Miami will provide you with a solid foundation in the German language. Building upon this foundation you will expand your knowledge of German by taking advanced courses that focus on the literature and culture of the German speaking world. You will also have the opportunity to hone those language skills by studying abroad with a Miami program or a program approved by the Office of Global Initiatives.
