This minor provides students an opportunity to enhance their major area(s) of study by gaining knowledge of best evidence-based ethical practices in human capital management and leadership. Management of people and organizations is a broadly transferable skill that will help any major attract, develop, and retain their top talent, as well as engage successful individuals and teams to meet organizational goals. A minimum 2.0 GPA is required for all courses in this minor. Courses must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit). Because of enrollment limits, students planning to take this minor should contact the department below as soon as possible.
Admission to most Farmer School of Business minors is limited and the respective departments are responsible for managing their enrollments. Students may enroll in a maximum of two Farmer School of Business minors. Students may enroll in only one Management Department minor (Human Capital Management & Leadership, Management, or Supply Chain Management). Some minors are available to students on a first-come, first-served basis while others have entry restrictions or requirements. Therefore, to increase the likelihood of gaining entry into a FSB minor, interested students should contact the department offering the minor as early as possible in their academic careers. Completion of a FSB minor may require taking coursework during summer and winter terms and/or online.
