Prepare for a Career in the Pulp and Paper or Allied Industries
The Paper Science Minor will provide you with the opportunity to explore the pulp and paper industry through coursework, networking, and work experiences. The minor introduces the materials science and engineering processes of pulp and paper manufacturing to students majoring in Chemistry. The educational experience will prepare you for a career as a process chemist or field chemist in the pulp and paper or allied industries.
ELIGIBILITY
A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 is required for all courses in the minor. None of these courses may be taken on a credit/no credit basis. Students majoring in Chemical Engineering or pursuing the Paper Engineering minor are not eligible for this minor.
