Build a Foundation in Architecture
The Architecture, B.A., major prepares you to earn a pre-professional degree and enter a professional graduate program to become a registered/licensed architect. This program explores how to develop innovative solutions while understanding artistic tradition.
Miami also offers a professional degree program for the Master of Architecture (M.Arch.), which is accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). The professional M.Arch. degree, in combination with a specified period of internship in an architectural firm, prepares students to sit for the state licensing examination and become practicing architects.
