The Artificial Intelligence for Business Minor prepares students to build and apply AI technologies that are transforming how organizations operate and compete. Students learn to work with data, develop AI models, and connect intelligent tools to real business applications using modern platforms and APIs. Students in the AI Certificate and Minor programs can participate in the Farmer School of Business AI Case Competition, where teams develop innovative AI-driven solutions to real business challenges provided by industry partners. This competition allows students to apply AI concepts in a practical setting, collaborate across disciplines, and present their ideas to industry judges.
AI Student Fellows and Research Projects
Students will have opportunities to work as AI Student Fellows or research assistants with faculty on applied AI projects related to business analytics, decision support, and intelligent enterprise systems. These experiences allow students to gain hands-on exposure to emerging AI tools and contribute to real-world research or classroom innovation.
Industry Engagement and AI Workshops
