Gain Knowledge, Skills, and Lab Experience
The Clinical Engineering Minor will provide the knowledge, skills, and lab experience needed for a clinical engineer working in a medical device company or hospital/clinical setting.
You will be introduced to hospital instrumentation, facilities, project management, and regulatory affairs for device approval.
This minor will provide you with a foundation in necessary skills and topics that are in demand by biomedical device companies, including startups and hospitals around the country.
Eligibility
Students majoring in biomedical engineering can count no more than 8 hours from their major towards this minor. Students may not receive both the clinical engineering and regulatory affairs minors.
