The Computer-Aided Manufacturing Microcredential provides invaluable hands-on experience with fundamental Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining and programming. Students will be able to write simple CNC programs, utilize machine shop measuring devices, calculate proper input parameters, and safely operate machinery to develop simple and joining parts. Transferable skills gained included critical thinking, analysis, and operations monitoring. Computer-Aided Manufacturing is an Ohio TechCred eligible program.
To earn this credential, the Computer-Aided Manufacturing Pathway must be successfully completed with a C- or higher, which includes the following course:
- ENT 152 – Computer-Aided Manufacturing I (3)
Note: ENT 152 has a co-requisite of MTH 125; considerable math experience will be considered to meet this requirement
This course is face-to-face and requires meeting on campus.
