Individuals who earn the Computer Skills for the Workplace Microcredential have become computer literate and are able to make practical use of computers. Participants will explore different hardware and software aspects of everyday computers and will learn practical skills using word processing, spreadsheet, database management, and presentation software. Computer Skills for the Workplace is an Ohio TechCred eligible program.
Transferable skills include: Microsoft Office Software, complex problem solving, and computer literacy.
To earn this credential, the Comptuer Skills for the Workplace Pathway must be successfully completed with a C- or higher, which includes the following course:
- CIT 154 – Personal Computer Concepts and Applications (3)
These courses are online asynchronous; there are no requirements to come to campus.
