Protecting our Digital World
Miami University’s Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity prepares professionals with a deep understanding of the people, processes, and technologies essential for securing complex information systems. Students will learn how to identify security vulnerabilities, develop solutions to protect and defend assets, and respond to and recover from cyber attacks through hands-on labs on our cyber range. They will also gain real-world experience by helping communities through our cybersecurity clinic.

Cybersecurity Curriculum and Courses
Miami’s Cybersecurity program takes you step-by-step through the skills needed to protect today’s digital world. In your first two years, you’ll build a strong foundation in programming, networks, and system administration. By your third year, you’ll tackle core areas like human, software, and network security. In your final year, advanced courses in defensive and offensive security bring everything together—giving you the broad perspective and hands-on experience to outsmart cyber threats.
