In today’s job market, there is a huge demand for artificial intelligence (AI) skills in multiple industries such as technology, healthcare, and finance. Designed to be accessible to students who are not majoring in computer science or software engineering, the Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence minor offers a structured path that enhances students’ employability by integrating specialized AI knowledge with their primary studies.
Curriculum and Courses
The Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence minor provides students with a deeper understanding of the AI tools that will impact their careers. It teaches the fundamentals of software development for artificial intelligence and machine learning (ML) applications, including Deep Learning and Generative AI concepts. 18 credit hours (a mix of 3 required courses and 3 electives) are required to complete the minor.
