The program emphasizes the applied aspects of science and engineering, and requires a thorough understanding of applied mathematics and the engineering sciences, as well as the completion of an associate degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-mechanical, or similar engineering technology program.

Curriculum and Courses
Courses are more applied and less math intensive compared to engineering degrees. Many classes are held in the evening, providing students with the opportunity to work full-time during the day or to participate in a co-op program. The program is accredited by ABET, Inc., the recognized accreditor of college and university programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and technology.
