Miami University’s Master of Entrepreneurship and Emerging Technology program positions students for success in creating or working for new economy organizations that leverage new technology. The program provides a foundation in entrepreneurial best practices, finance, and creativity that is supported by technology expertise in advanced digital marketing, user-experience testing, and digital prototyping. All of this prepares a student to create a tech-enabled business or propel an existing business on the frontiers of our economy with practical work experience.

- Develop a feasible model for an emerging media startup grounded in UX research and supported with a digital marketing plan.
- Create a digital prototype of an emerging media product or platform and validate the prototype.
- Apply a depth of practical methods in the management of an emerging media organization. Specifically, a depth in building a tech startup, programming, design, or tournament organization.
- Implement emerging media best practices in a practical experience with an organization that leverages emerging technology to meet actual business needs.
Admission Requirements
To apply for the Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Technology program, you’ll need:
- A four-year baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution
- Undergraduate transcript
- Two (2) letters of recommendation
- GMAT or FRE scores optional
