The Introduction to Cognitive Science Microcredential provides you with an exploration of the key principles of the psychological sciences with an emphasis on the concepts of cognitive psychology. You’ll delve into how humans perceive, think, learn, and remember, and learn about topics such as memory, decision-making, problem-solving, and language. You can expect to develop a deeper understanding of the cognitive processes that underpin human behavior.
This is a stackable Microcredential; to earn this credential, the Introduction to Cognitive Science Pathway must be successfully completed with a C- or higher, which includes the following courses:
- PSY 111 – Introduction to Psychology (3)
- PSY 271 – Survey of Perception, Action, and Cognition (3)
These courses are available in Online Asynchronous format. There is no need to come to campus.
