The Introduction to Conducting Research in Psychological Science Microcredential covers the basic of undertaking a psychological research project all the way from the design of the project to reporting the results. You’ll learn how to read and interpret published research on your journey to designing an original research project and use relevant tools to collect, organize, and interpret data like Google Forms, Microsoft Excel, and IBM SPSS statistical software. The course also covers how to write and present research reports for professional and lay audiences using APA format. Transferable skills include data visualization, critical thinking, and writing.
This is a stackable Microcredential; to earn this credential, the Introduction to Conducting Research in Psychological Science Pathway must be successfully completed with a C- or higher, which includes the following courses:
- PSY 111 – Introduction to Psychology (3)
- STA 261 – Statistics (4)
- PSS 218 – Introduction to Research Design and Analysis (4)
- PSS 219 – Advanced Research Design and Analysis (4)
