A Cross-Disciplinary Exploration Through Psychological Research and Innovation
Our certificate in Learning, Cognitive, and Brain Sciences affords graduate students across academic departments with opportunities to explore and apply research in neuroscience, psychology, and cognitive development with prevailing theories of learning and educational psychology.
Curriculum and Courses
Our graduate certificate consists of fifteen credits that include four required courses and one elective course. All courses are offered on the Oxford campus with some availability of online course sections.

Admission Information
Current and New Graduate Students
Admission to our graduate certificate in Learning, Cognitive, and Brain Sciences is offered to both current Miami graduate students interested in adding the credential to their degree programs, as well as new graduate students seeking the certificate as a sole pursuit.
Application
The program may be pursued on a part-time basis with admission available in the fall or spring semesters.
Current Miami students apply via our Graduate Certificate Form.
Prospective Miami applicants will submit the university’s Graduate Certificate application.
Required application materials include a Statement of Purpose along with the $20 application fee.

Students learn about basic psychological research across various speciality areas (e.g., developmental, cognitive, neuroscience, education, learning sciences).
