Theory Meets Practice
If you’re interested in a substantive experience in performance, then the Music Performance Minor is for you. You will receive one-on-one instruction with expert faculty and perform in award-winning ensembles.
Studies in music theory and music history complement the performance coursework.

Admission to the Music Performance minor is by audition only. Each applied area (voice, piano, flute, etc.) has its own audition requirements. The Music Performance Minor is not available to Music Performance, B.M., and Music Education, B.M. students. For more information, please visit the Department of Music website.
