Build Technology with a Global and Ethical Perspective
Students who earn a Microcredential in Social and Global Computing develop a solid understanding of the cultural and ethical implications of developing technology.
Transferable skills gained include ethical decision making, cultural awareness, and global strategies.
This is a stackable Microcredential; to earn this credential, the Social and Global Computing Pathway must be successfully completed with a C- or higher, which includes the following courses:
- CIT 262 – Technology, Ethics & Global Society (3)
- CIT 448 – Global & Strategic Issues in IT (3)
**Note: College-level writing is required to be successful in this MC program. ENG 111 is a prerequisite to this Microcredential; a college writing sample or college transcript noting the completed college writing course may also be accepted.
These courses are online asynchronous; there are no requirements to come to campus.
