This minor builds on the statistical methods of estimation and hypothesis testing introduced in the introductory statistics course. It includes additional study of the statistical methods involved in regression analysis and experimental design as well as options for study of non-parametric, quality control, and/or sampling methods. A capstone experience in statistics may also be included as part of this minor. (18 semester hours)
ELIGIBILITY
This minor is not available to students majoring in mathematics, statistics, or mathematics and statistics. To complete the minor in statistical methods, you must earn at least 18 semester hours with at least a 2.00 GPA. A course taken on a credit/no credit basis does not apply toward the minor.
