Integrate Engineering and Public Needs
The Chemical Engineering, B.S., at Miami University examines how to analyze, design, and synthesize products and processes in a variety of areas, such as chemical and petrochemical processes, pharmaceuticals, environmental processes, biotechnology/bioengineering, and pulp and paper processes. You’ll learn the skills to lead interdisciplinary teams and provide practical solutions, while also gaining a strong foundation in math, science, and liberal education to prepare for the complex technical, social, and economic challenges of the 21st century.
This degree program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Chemical, Biochemical, Biomolecular, and Similarly Named Engineering Programs.
