Building New Horizons
Robotics Engineering Technology emphasizes the applied aspects of science and engineering and prepares graduates to be able to address problems in areas such as factory automation, building automation, and motion control and robotics. The program requires a thorough understanding of applied mathematics and the engineering sciences as well as the completion of an associate degree from an accredited college or university in electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, robotics or similar engineering technology program.
Curriculum and Courses
Courses are more applied and less math intensive compared to engineering degrees. Most engineering classes are held in the evenings, which provides an opportunity for our students to work full-time during the day or participate in a co-op program. Students are required to complete a Senior Design Project in their final year of study.
