The Aerospace Studies minor at Miami University is a comprehensive, interdisciplinary program open to all majors. Introduces students to the expansive fields of air and space service, offering detailed insights into the organization and operations of the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force. This minor requires 19 semester hours.
Eligibility
A minimum 2.0 GPA is required for all courses in this minor. Courses must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit). Students planning to take this minor should consult with the lead departmental adviser.
Courses and Curriculum
Students take a core sequence of Aerospace Studies (AES) courses with the remainder of the hours from courses such as:
- GEO 378 – Political Geography
- HST 333 – Reconstruction of Europe Since 1945
- HST 375 – The Soviet Union and Beyond
- MGT 291 – Introduction to Management and Leadership
