Shape Tomorrow’s Sustainable World
The Sustainability co-major at Miami University explores the dynamic relationship between humans and the natural environment, helping students understand key environmental patterns, systems, and processes.
This program prepares graduates for careers and advanced degrees in sustainability, including specialized fields such as sustainable design, environmental management, and sustainability policy.
This program requires that the student complete another major at Miami University. The Sustainability Co-major complements the primary major, which provides significant depth and breadth in an academic discipline.
Curriculum and Courses
The Sustainability co-major emphasizes human-nature interaction in understanding environmental patterns and processes. Students are prepared to pursue a wide variety of career paths and post-graduate degrees in sustainability, especially those with design, management, and policy specializations.
