The English Studies, B.A., helps you hone and grow your skills in reading, writing, critical and creative thinking, problem-solving, and more – all of which are key to career readiness. In addition to analyzing complex texts and data, you’ll learn how to write for a range of print and digital audiences.

Pursue coursework that explores the rich and varied nature of English Studies: literature, creative writing, professional writing and rhetoric, cultural studies, and linguistics. Our flexible curriculum, taught by award-winning faculty, creates opportunities for learners to work toward a minor or second major while completing their B.A. in English Studies.

The Malcolm Sedam Writing Scholarship
Open to Regionals students who have declared a major in English Studies, this scholarship is ideal for students with a minimum 2.9 GPA and who have or intend to submit the standard scholarship application along with FAFSA to Financial Aid.
The Illuminati
The Illuminati is dedicated to supporting and promoting literature and the arts on campus and in the community. The club creates and publishes Illuminati, the campus literary journal, and hosts a variety of events on and off campus.
