From Molecules to Mind
The Neuroscience Minor examines nerve cells, how they’re organized into a functional nervous system, and the role of this system in behavior and cognition. Coursework draws from biology and psychology.
ELIGIBILITY
A minimum 2.0 GPA is required for all courses in this minor. Courses must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit). Students planning to take this minor should consult with an adviser in one of the departments listed below.
Curriculum and Courses
Neuroscience is a rapidly advancing, interdisciplinary field with relevance to all aspects of our everyday lives. As a highly interdisciplinary field, neuroscience requires an in-depth study of the nervous system at multiple levels of analysis, including molecular, genetic, cellular, and systems levels.
