Pre-medical studies covers fundamental concepts in the biological, physical, and social sciences that are required to pursue advanced degrees in medicine and healthcare fields. Formal advising sessions are integrated with professional development courses. You’ll declare a primary major in addition to this program.

The Premedical Studies co-major requires only 2 additional credit hours to a normal premedical curriculum while allowing you to track their progress toward achieving your professional goals. It can be modified based on requirements for your chosen career path. You will take coursework in areas such as chemistry, biology, physics, social science, and statistics.
- PMD 101 and PMD 301 Professional Seminar Courses
- 3-4 Biology courses; additional may be recommended
- 4-5 semesters of Chemistry
- One semester of Statistics
- Two semesters of social science, which may include Psychology and Sociology
