Become a Leader in the Creative Economy
This program combines artistic practice with foundational skills in arts management, business, creativity, and innovation in the arts. We are training artists, arts managers, arts leaders, arts entrepreneurs, and arts lovers to enter an industry that ranks 3rd, trailing only Healthcare and Retail, in contributions (GDP) to the national economy.
Curriculum and Courses
In this program, we are training artists, arts managers, arts leaders, arts entrepreneurs, and arts lovers to enter an industry that ranks 3rd, trailing only Healthcare and Retail, in contributions (GDP) to the national economy contributing almost a billion dollars in 2019. There are great jobs in the arts. Our courses are designed to gain an in-depth understanding of the field and also teach students transferable skills such as creativity, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration so they are prepared for the future.

At Miami, there’s something for everyone.
Like many people I had more than a few things that I was passionate about and unfortunately, I couldn’t make a career out of all of them. I learned about the immense backdrop that frames the arts industry, made of administrators, managers and entrepreneurs of all stripes, and more than a few lawyers. The Arts Management Program allowed me to explore a new world of employment opportunities.
