Questioning the World Around Us
If you are not majoring in philosophy, the Ethics, Society, and Culture minor at Miami University provides a meaningful opportunity to explore philosophical questions about ethics, culture, and society, including what it means to live responsibly in a diverse world. This ethics minor develops skills in critical thinking, ethical reasoning, and cultural analysis that complement a wide range of majors.
The Ethics, Society, and Culture minor is an excellent choice for students planning to apply to medical school, law school, MBA programs, other professional programs, or graduate school, where ethical decision-making and social awareness are essential.
Eligibility
A minimum 2.0 GPA is required for all courses in this minor. Courses must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit). Students planning to take this minor should consult with the chief departmental adviser.
