The Hospitality Management major emphasizes daily business operations, administration, human resources, marketing, and financial management within the hospitality industry. Travel and tourism gross domestic product is predicted to grow, on average, at 5.8 percent a year between 2022 and 2032, outpacing the growth of the overall economy at an expected 2.7 percent a year.* Our Bachelor of Science in Commerce’s Hospitality Management major is designed to help you be a part of this boom.
Curriculum and Courses
The Hospitality Management major draws courses from a variety of disciplines to prepare students to work in hospitality management as well as other organizations in managerial and staff capacities. Students gain an in-depth understanding of industry best practices, special event planning, sanitation and safety principles, and customer service satisfaction.
