Biochemistry involves the study of life on the molecular level. Biochemists blend chemical and biological approaches to develop molecular models of life processes in organisms ranging from microbes to humans. Your studies will draw on areas such as biotechnology, genetic engineering, and biomedical engineering. This program is accredited by the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Our Bachelor of Arts degree is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in chemistry and biochemistry, with the flexibility to pursue other interests including other majors, study abroad, or extensive work or volunteer activities.
Our Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry was created in accordance with American Chemical Society guidelines and is accredited by the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. This program is designed for students who wish to become professional scientists with a strong foundation in biochemistry.
