Hands-On Experience in Museum Methods and Approaches
The Minor in Museums and Society delves into methods and approaches through competent and creative research on objects, collections, and collecting institutions. This minor also provides a critical understanding of museums as institutions that are collections-based. It is especially appropriate if you are planning a professional career in education, libraries, Anthropology, Art and Architecture History, History, and associated fields. (18 semester hours)
Eligibility
A minimum 2.00 GPA is required for all courses in this minor. Courses must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit). While open to all majors, students planning to pursue this minor should consult with the program’s chief adviser.
