Enhancing Classroom Inclusion
Miami’s TESOL Endorsement Certificate (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) prepares PK-12 educators to work effectively with English language learners. Our courses provide real-world understanding and practical strategies to address the linguistic, cultural, and academic issues facing English language learners and their teachers in schools.
Curriculum and Courses
Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Undergraduate Endorsement Certificate provides undergraduate teacher licensure candidates the knowledge, skills, and experiences that will prepare them to meet the challenges of English language learners in their classrooms. The TESOL endorsement consists of a three-course focus sequence, and a field-based teaching practicum experience with English learners in the schools. Open to all teacher licensure majors.
