Develop innovative solutions while understanding artistic tradition. This program prepares you to earn a pre-professional degree (Bachelor of Arts in Architecture). Then, you can enter a professional graduate program to become a registered/licensed architect. Miami also offers a professional degree program for the Master of Architecture.
Courses in contemporary art history and the history of visual arts in Europe, Asia, Africa, and North America are offered by professors who are specialists in these areas.
With training in architecture, you are prepared to work in many fields. In addition to careers with private architectural firms, students can pursue jobs in commercial, industrial, and retail design; facilities management; real estate and development; engineering; sales and manufacturing; and museum and gallery management, design, and installation. You can also become a historian, theorist, or critic.
Your college experience here will be one of the most exciting times of your life. To make sure of this, we’ll provide you with a powerful support system.
