In the Communication Design minor, you’ll learn to create compelling visuals and digital experiences that communicate with impact, combining strategic thinking with cutting-edge tools. The minor includes instruction in design research methods like interviewing, observations, and surveys, as well as rapid prototyping and testing to discover what and how to create so it meets stakeholders’ needs. Students develop a refined sense of using color and typography to enhance visual communication and usability in the minor by creating designs that span logotypes, publications, presentations, and posters.

A BFA in Communication Design is also available.

Eligibility

A minimum 2.50 GPA is required for admission.
