Teach Grades 7 through 12
Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) programs combine graduate and undergraduate study in Integrated English Language Arts Education and enables a student with a baccalaureate degree to earn teaching licensure and a master’s degree in approximately four or five semesters of full-time study, depending upon academic background, experience, and teaching field.
Language Arts Education Curriculum and Courses
Students in the Integrated English Language Arts Master of Arts in Teaching program must complete general and program requirements and the content requirements.

The Department of Teaching, Curriculum, and Educational Inquiry has been authorized to nominate a limited number of students for graduate assistantships, subject to the approval of the Graduate School. These assistantships are awarded to students by the Graduate School upon the nomination of the Department.
